FAQ

How much cooler does a misting fan actually feel?

In low to moderate humidity, you can feel up to 15°F cooler. In higher humidity the effect is reduced — evaporation slows — but the airflow still provides significant relief. The ice core models work regardless of humidity.

Will the mist get me or my stuff wet?

Not with our micro-fine nozzles. The droplets are designed to evaporate before reaching you, so you feel cool air, not spray. You can also run any model in fan-only mode if you prefer zero mist.

Do the portable fans work in Florida humidity?

Yes — the portable models include fan-only and ice-core options that work just as well in humid conditions. The mist mode is most effective in drier heat, but all our fans deliver meaningful cooling in any climate.

How long does a charge last on portable models?

Entry handheld models: 4–6 hours. Premium handheld: 6–8 hours on a 3000mAh battery. Neck fans: 4–8 hours. The premium model also works as a phone power bank while you use it.

What voltage are the outdoor and commercial fans?

All ChillerAir patio and commercial units are 110V/60Hz — US standard. No voltage converter needed. We spec this in every product specifically because it's often ignored by other sellers.

When will products be available to buy?

The ChillerAir Go and Home lines launch first. Join the waitlist to get early access pricing and first availability — launch window is Summer 2026. Yard and Pro lines follow shortly after.

How do I clean the water tank?

Simply empty the tank, rinse with clean water, and let it air dry. For deeper cleaning, a few drops of white vinegar and a rinse cycle prevents any mineral buildup. We recommend doing this every 2–3 weeks.
